Kawasaki completes world’s first liquefied hydrogen receiving terminal

recently completed Kobe LH2 Terminal (Hy touch Kobe), the world’s first liquefied hydrogen receiving terminal. Kawasaki built this terminal for the CO 2 -free Hydrogen Energy Supply-chain Technology Research Association (HySTRA). Additionally, the tank adopts a spherical design, which is the best shape for reducing heat transfer.

The number of hydrogen stations deployed globally has surpassed the 1,000-mark, according to a study by Information Trends. China represents roughly one-third of global deployments, but the US lags far behind with less than 100 hydrogen stations. Another four Asia-Pacific countries have also deployed hydrogen stations.

Airbus exploring hydrogen fuel cell propellor “pods” for aircraft propulsion
