Chrysler managed the feat for the 1949 model year; we admired a Plymouth Special Deluxe sedan from that year in a Colorado car graveyard last summer, and today we're going to take a look at an example of one of the last of the stopgap postwar Chrysler products : this '48 Dodge in a yard just south of Denver.

Here's one of those first-generation Fairlanes, found in a self-service boneyard just south of Denver, Colorado. There's a lot of great vintage stuff at Colorado Auto & Parts right now. Army staff car , a 1965 Dodge D-200 U.S. This dusty sticker on the dash is a piece of obscure 1990s Denver history.

After various high-end Imperials got LeBaron branding over the decades, Chrysler decided to turn the Dodge Diplomat into a swanky luxury machine and revive the storied LeBaron name in the process. Here's one of those cars, found in a Denver boneyard recently. Plymouth didn't come out with the Gran Fury until the 1980 model year.

Here's one of those cars, found at a family-owned yard just south of Denver. Colorado Auto & Parts recently placed well over 100 vintage machines from the 1940s through 1970s in the regular self-service inventory, including today's Junkyard Find. The original engine in the '71 MGB (which might even be this one) was a 1.8-liter

Today's Junkyard Find , found in a yard just south of Denver , is a nicely preserved example of the final year of the S110 Silvia , as well as of the Datsun name. This car sure looks a lot like the 1978-1983 Mitsubishi Galant Lambda hardtop , sold in North America as the Dodge Challenger and Plymouth Sapporo.
