VinFast signed its first dealer sales agreement with Bahwan Automobiles Trading LLC (BAT) in the Middle East. Under the agreement, VinFast electric vehicles (EVs) will be distributed in the Oman market through its official dealer, BAT. Today, VinFast and a local dealer network in the Middle East signed an agreement to bring the former’s EVs to the region. As part of the agreement, BAT will establish and operate 13 VinFast stores and service centers over the next three years, with initial sales in the Middle East commencing in mid-2024.

Tran Mai Hoa, VinFast’s Deputy CEO of Sales and Marketing, said although Q4 deliveries jumped from Q3 , “slow EV adoption rate in certain regions” impacted its delivery plans. Despite deliveries picking up all year, around two-thirds of VinFast’s Q2 and Q3 sales were to Green and Smart Mobility (GSM).
