VinFast delivered the first 27 VF 9 all-electric SUVs to its customers at an event in Hanoi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The first batch of VF 9s, produced and delivered to customers in Vietnam, has a 6-seat configuration. The delivery events took place approximately 1 year after introducing the VF 9 model to the public.

VinFast signed its first dealer sales agreement with Bahwan Automobiles Trading LLC (BAT) in the Middle East. VinFast’s founder has announced a new arm called V-Green to build EV chargers, focused on bolstering global access while prioritizing sessions for VinFast drivers, accelerating the Vietnamese automaker’s expansion into new markets. V-Green will operate as a global partner to VinFast to develop and implement a worldwide network of EV chargers.

The EV maker has now handed over 42,291 electric vehicles globally since it first in 2021. VinFast’s parent company, VinGroup, established GSM , an EV rental and taxi company, last March to expand its electric cars and scooters in Vietnam. VinFast confirmed the VF 3 will be sold globally. VinFast delivered 34,855 EVs in 2023.
