The all-new 2012 Honda Civic Natural Gas (formally known as the Civic GX), the only dedicated natural gas-powered passenger vehicle manufactured and sold in the US, will go on sale at qualified Honda dealerships nationwide on 18 October with a Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) starting at $26,155.

Honda’s 2015 Civic Hybrid and Civic Natural Gas vehicles are joining the already released 2015 Civic Sedan, Civic Coupe and Civic Si in showrooms in the US. The 2015 Civic Hybrid launches at Honda dealers nationwide on November 5 with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) starting at $24,735.

Using technology from the 2016 Chevrolet Volt propulsion system ( earlier post ), Malibu Hybrid will offer an estimated combined fuel economy rating exceeding 45 mpg (5.22 The engine also features Chevrolet’s first application of Exhaust Gas Heat Recovery, or EGHR, technology, which uses exhaust heat to warm the engine and cabin.
