The EPA rated the Santa Cruz’ fuel economy at 19 mpg city/27 highway/22 combined. We only took the Santa Cruz to 80 mph (Hyundai rates the top speed at 155 mph) where the engine was pleasantly quiet and smooth, delivering seamless power when needed.
