PACCAR announced that a Kenworth T680 fuel cell electric vehicle and a battery electric Peterbilt Model 579EV became the first Class 8 zero emissions vehicles to drive to the 14,115 foot summit of Pikes Peak in Colorado. We are very excited about the work Kenworth and Peterbilt have done in the development of zero emissions technology.

In urban driving, a C-segment SUV equipped with the HYBRID system can thus operate more than 50% of the time in 100% zero-emission electric mode. The BYD 6R is capable of working an entire shift without recharging. The truck has 211 KWh of initial battery capacity and is capable of 120 kW DC CCS1 charging. Seven-Eleven and Toyota entered into a basic agreement in August 2017 regarding considerations toward energy conservation and carbon dioxide emission reduction in store distribution and operation. Specifically, the Group plans to increase renewable energy use in stores to 20% and reduce CO 2 emissions by 27% compared to FY 2013 by 2030.
