Solar trackers were common when solar was expensive, but now that solar panels are inexpensive, the maintenance for the motors that move the panels is not a good idea. The city of Davis, California is putting two in. They’re using those to charge service vehicles, like golf carts for campus use, rather than cars.

The customer will only pay a monthly fee about $240 (US Dollars) which includes a full maintenance service agreement; carbon offset payments and in some countries even all electricity used, and insurance. They are either glorified golf cart city cars like this one or they are only for the very wealthy like the Tesla.
