Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) will be the first customer for the new bus, receiving seven 35-foot Catalyst FC buses and two overhead semi-autonomous fast chargers. The Proterra TerraFlex Energy Systems provides customers with the ability to choose between 53 kWh to 321 kWh of energy storage, and the option to charge on-route or in-depot.

Two global fulfillment centers—one in Rotterdam and one in Dallas—can ship product to customers within 72 hours. They are usually delivery vehicles working within a neighborhood, and are on the road for 6-8 hour a day and are recharged overnight. The second is the module/pack manufacturing plant. The Edison is a 3.5 Battery chemistry.
