Hyundai Group joined its partner Rimac Automobili in an event hosted by Rimac CEO Mate Rimac and attended by Croatian Prime Minister, ministers, and senior government officials to discuss the potential of the new auto industry in Croatia. Global automotive producers have shifted production towards CEE countries from Western Europe.
High volume ESS production shall begin in 2025 at the Rimac Campus in Croatia, scaling to more than 10GWh of annual production. Rimac Technology is the Rimac Group entity that designs, engineers and produces high-performance EV components and systems to help the industry build hybrid and electric vehicles.

Rimac Automobili has unveiled a Rimac Nevera, an all-electric hypercar, a production version of the C_Two electric supercar. It is designed, engineered and handcrafted in-house at Rimac’s headquarters in Croatia (Europe). It is said to be one of the most powerful electric cars in the world.
BMW and Croatia’s Rimac have agreed to partner on high-voltage electric vehicle battery technology , they said on Tuesday, a European tie-up aimed at challenging Asian dominance in the field.
