High volume ESS production shall begin in 2025 at the Rimac Campus in Croatia, scaling to more than 10GWh of annual production. Rimac Technology is the Rimac Group entity that designs, engineers and produces high-performance EV components and systems to help the industry build hybrid and electric vehicles.

Hyundai Group joined its partner Rimac Automobili in an event hosted by Rimac CEO Mate Rimac and attended by Croatian Prime Minister, ministers, and senior government officials to discuss the potential of the new auto industry in Croatia. The automotive industry needs to get the same attention as soccer in Croatia.

The joint venture will have its headquarters in Zagreb (Croatia) and is scheduled to be established in the fourth quarter of 2021. In the future also, all Bugatti models will still be produced at the Bugatti factory in Molsheim, France. This is subject to the prior approval of antitrust authorities in several countries.
