The use of a supercritical fuel charge enables very fast and complete combustion with minimized thermal losses. The TSCi charge is nearly invisible to the eye. In Li-ion batteries, Li ions (Li + ) leave the cathode during charging and move through the electrolyte and separator to intercalate into the anode.
