The cost of ownership for EVs is still quite high. The cost of batteries is not a problem when this is organized in the right way. A group of EV owners can create a grid cloud, with not yet available smart chargers, the grid cloud works as a virtual powerplant. So the currently high price of the battery is not a problem.
