Europcar currently offers invoicing with the CO2 emissions data per rental in Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom and New Zealand. Even before booking, customers can go online to assess the average Europcar fleet CO2 emissions for each rental car. It will also soon be available in Australia.

The Renault-Nissan Alliance has begun ZEV initiatives in Kanagawa Prefecture and Yokohama in Japan, as well as in Israel, Denmark, Portugal, Monaco, the UK, France, Switzerland, Ireland, China and Hong Kong. It will also look into educating the public on EV technology though a nationwide EV sharing programme or through corporate fleets.
