Toyota anticipates that the 2016 Prius ( earlier post ) will deliver fuel economy ratings of 54 MPG city / 50 MPG highway / 52 MPG combined. A new Eco grade model is expecting ratings of 58 MPG city / 53 MPG highway / 56 MPG combined thanks to lighter weight and further optimized aerodynamics.

The all-new 2023 Prius Prime gets two less miles per gallon in hybrid mode than the 2022 model, but the all-electric driving range has increased substantially.

Les Goldman wants you to convert (your hybrid.) Even the Prius and Civic Hybrid are quite different. They've been converting some cars back east, working out the kinks. Lately Goldman has been driving one around DC, meeting with policy makers and pushing for consumer incentives for hybrid conversions. Easy as 123.
