I love the idea of powering my car from solar power. Photovoltaic arrays belong on stationary rooftops -- which is an excellent way to drive on solar power (roof > house > car). Toyotas Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries are considered "non-hazardous waste" [See "high voltage electrical systems" ].
