Individuals and businesses lose months and connect fees when they add solar and other forms of renewable energy to the grid. Millions of EVs and PHEVs would expand the sale of electricity as an alternative to oil. So while my car is powering the great city during the day how will I have juice to drive home at the end of the day?

But it is a price that must be paid, and GM should be commended for remaining committed to the Volt. It isa fundamental change in direction for GM. GM will leapfrog Toyota and Honda by providing an electric car to the masses by the end of next year. GM is developing more fuel-efficient vehicles. Thats short-sighted.
