SpaceX’s Starlink may land in SriLanka next after President Ranil Wickremesinghe approved the satellite internet service. President Wickremesinghe greenlit the launch of Starlink internet in SriLanka over the weekend. According to World Population Review , the average cost of internet in SriLanka is about $10 a month.
Starlink received a license in SriLanka, enabling it to start operations there. According to the Sri Lankan President’s office, the local telecommunications regulator issued a license to SpaceX, permitting it to provide Starlink services in the country. Starlink is connecting people worldwide through wars and natural disasters.
