VayuGrid, a biofuel supply chain company based in Bangalore, India has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to create a biofuel cluster around its VayuSap, an elite, high-yield Pongamia (a leguminous, oilseed-bearing tree), in Ethiopia Africa. Ethiopia was chosen strategically based on the economics and agriculture.

As countries from India to Ethiopia plant millions of trees to combat global warming, one German company has a much smaller idea. Berlin-based Green City Solutions plans to clean the air of local emissions from gasoline and diesel engines, by planting millions of tiny mossy trees in cities.

In 2018 and 2019, two 737 Max 8 planes crashed in Indonesia and Ethiopia, killing nearly 350 people.
