People feel connected when they can contribute to another person's success and I found no end to help for this project. I purchased the kit as a no-gasoline commuter car solution. The DC kit is better for a fast car, the AC kit better for smoother driving and (possibly) longer range, although that has yet to be proven.

Hopefully the funding was from the same place as well… 2 Bill C said on March 13th, 2009 at 1:21 pm I think a few billion should be taken out of the Detroit bailout and give some capital to all of the electric car companies. The tango (commuter cars) says they only need 50 million to become profitable.

Glad to see the variety & availability of electic commuter cars (vs hybrids & PHEV) is rising. My personal criteria for an EV is 80/80 MPH/miles range, but thats because drivers either go 80 or stopped around here. Hybrids are just car makers attempt to hang onto ICE & also sell expensive high margin vehicles.
