Acceleration to 100 kph (62 mph) is decent. But this is also where EV performance is at its best, as they tend to lose some steam at higher speeds and are often electronically limited to 100 mph. Ford has it set up with larger 20-inch wheels, more interior lighting options, a hands-free tailgate, upgraded sound system, and more.

As soon as someone comes up with all day range (300 miles plus) or quick charge capability (less than 30-60 minutes) for a reasonable price (25k - 40k), electric cars will start to take over. Glad to see the variety & availability of electic commuter cars (vs hybrids & PHEV) is rising.
