Volkswagen has developed a mobile juice pack for electric cars. The EPA continues to roll back regulations on coal plants to allow them to emit more pollution. Tesla released sales numbers for the last quarter of 2018. For the first time dramatic depreciation on electric cars has begun to reverse.

After the sugarcane has been crushed, all of the cane juice is sent to sugar production. Pantaleon Sugar Holdings (Bio-Etanol S.A) is a company based in Guatemala that produces and exports ethanol derived from sugarcane molasses. Sugarcane is harvested on company-owned and partnership farms, and then transported to the sugar mill.

The plant was originally fueled by coal but was converted to natural gas in 2010. After the sugarcane has been crushed, the cane juice is filtered, treated with calcium hydroxide, decanted, and then sent to sugar production. Nameplate capacity is 50 million gallons per year of denatured ethanol.

That being said, even a car that derives its energy from coal power plants would be far more clean. Having centralized energy production in that way allows for centralized pollution control measures, filters, so-called "clean coal" rather than depending on X number of cars, manufacturers, and consumers to deal with pollution control.

I have been on exactly one ICE (dinasour juice* consuming Internal Combustion Engine vehicles) roadtrip prior to this. Given the coal shortage and power cuts across the country + the fact that there are little to no power cuts in Bombay, it felt like accepting harsh realities. The car that I am taking on this trip is 2022 MG ZS EV.

Then as the sun sets in the West, hopefully the battery pack would have enough juice to power the house for the rest of the evening. . Apparently in total this equates to a saving of 715 KG of coal burning and a saving of 1.8 So far in 2021 another 170WKh has come from the Winter sun. . Tons of CO2. . Solar Panels: JA Solar.
