Ford’s Dunton Technical Centre, in Essex, will continue to be powered by electricity from renewable sources after a new sourcing contract was signed. Since March last year, electrical power on the 270-acre site near Basildon has come from GDF’s renewable division.

If our country is going to spend money like a drunk sailor we should have spent it on building renewable energy power plants like Wind and Geothermal. We should have built more Nuclear power plants and created a nuclear waste recycling program. The car will simply fall away if GM folds. Many others are not so careful.
