These kilometers have predominantly been driven by gasoline and diesel cars, exacerbating the air pollution crisis in European cities. If it wants to become part of the solution Uber needs to stop using petrol and diesel cars and rapidly shift to 100% electric rides. That’s the right thing to do, full stop.

At a ceremony held at the Royal Thames Yacht Club last week, Gideon Goudsmit of African Cats BV was presented with the Royal Thames Mansura Trophy for the performance of the catamaran Green Motion, developed by the company in Durban SA.
