The seventeen EU countries that levy passenger car taxes partially or totally based on the car’s carbon dioxide emissions and/or fuel consumption are: Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Latvia, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom.

Since then, hydrogen buses and trolleybuses produced by Solaris have been sold to operators in the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Sweden and Latvia. Solaris unveiled its first buses to use hydrogen in 2014. In the weeks to come, more European towns and cities wish to test Solaris Urbino hydrogen buses.

In order to optimally reduce energy use in the vehicle, it will feature a climate comfort system with a CO? This year, 10 such vehicles will drive across the capital of Latvia in total. Hydrogen is stored in composite tanks on the roof; the mass of the tanks will be reduced by about 20% compared to previous models.

Neste is now also launching Neste MY Renewable Diesel to climate-conscious fleet customers in the Netherlands. Besides the Netherlands, Neste MY Renewable Diesel is available for customers in the United States in California and Oregon, Finland, Sweden, Latvia and Lithuania.

Among the greenhouse gases reported to the United Nations Framework Convention for Climate Change (UNFCCC), carbon dioxide (CO 2 ) accounted for the largest increase in emissions in 2010. The relative growth in emissions was highest in Estonia, Finland, Sweden and Latvia. The gas represented 82% of total EU GHG emissions.

We started near Hamburg, Germany and drove through Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and back through the finish line in Hamburg 16 days later. Additionally, the 100% touchscreen climate control and ICE operation can be difficult to adjust. This setup allowed us to use the van as a camper.
