Volkswagen fueling car carriers with fuel derived from used cooking oil; GoodFuels BFO

Green Car Congress

The fuel is produced from materials such as used oil from restaurants and the food industry. The first car freighter was refueled for the first time with this oil in mid-November 2020 and a second ship is due to follow at the beginning of 2021. This way, we reuse waste oil in an environmentally compatible way.

U.K. Startup’s Digital Dyeing Printers Save Energy, Water

Cars That Think

He had contributed to the invention of Shell mineral oil, which is still being used in our cars. Unsurprisingly: apart from some occasional optimizations (less chemicals, better waste recycling), processes haven’t changed. With climate protection, we have become used to minute progress, at the best.
