The previous successful public demonstrations incorporated test drives for a variety of people including legislators, government officials, race car drivers and other interested parties. Todays hybrids have small battery packs and cannot be recharged from the utility grid system.

Electric cars are essentially equipped with two brake systems independent of each other: a conventional, mechanical, hydraulically operated brake system and the e-motor acting as a motor brake when when recovering energy. In an electric car this number of levels leads to a different way of driving. As a new car the e-up!
