Other than the good news on oil consumption, very little was said in regards to transportation fuels. As another panelist pointed out, “ The New York Times is well-equipped to write the article about how Stimulus Funds have been wasted ”. By the time REFF West occurred in October 2008 the climate had changed dramatically.

As our planet’s atmosphere overheats because the greenhouse gas firewall we’ve built by burning fossil fuels works so damn well, there is one secret weapon we can all still whip out if we want to fight back and try to save ourselves from frying. Big Dick did all this while knowing full well the damage burning fossil fuels does.

Seems like a perfect use for some stimulus money, don’t it? That’s more like a head butt than a face slap… Personally I vote for Al Gore’s plan for generating 100% of our nationwide electric from renewable energy as he offered it last summer. 2007 USA electric energy fuel mix.
