This is not to imply in any way that electric vehicles are worthless. As electricity increasingly comes from renewables, total electric vehicle GHG emissions will continue downward, but that will take at least a decade or more to happen everywhere across the U.S. The answer is perhaps some, but maybe not too much.

To get the most mileage, one could not have the radio, the A/C, or the headlights on. Think of driving any vehicle in the hot Los Angeles summer time. Then consider that in order to actually go any farther than the neighbood store, one still had to have ANOTHER car. they make electric assisted gas vehicles.
