Just like traditional four-wheeled electric vehicles, electric motorcycles are quieter, smoother and more comfortable.

However, CNG conversion was apparently detrimental from a climate change perspective, as CH 4 emissions increased. As the greenhouse gas impacts (costs or benefits) are much smaller than the health benefits, the conversion of petroleum vehicles to CNG can be justified on the basis of local air pollution benefits alone, they concluded.

For example, it only costs £2.50 to fully charge a 50kWh Renault Zoe if you have an EV-specific energy tariff where electricity costs 5p per kW. With a ‘real world’ range of 195 miles, this gives you a cost per 100 miles of £1.28.
