The critical need for government leadership in the emergence of electric vehicles dominated a recent Green Fleet Management discussion in Toronto, hosted by Fleet Challenge Ontario. So it intervened through the US Post Office by passing the Kelly Act to contract air mail service to commercial carriers.

Vans, or light commercial vehicles (LCV) were not to be outdone and proved what could be achieved if driven more thoughtfully. Commercial vehicle drivers in the ALD/TOTAL ECO 10 MPG Marathon clearly demonstrated the potential for fuel savings that can be achieved through skilful eco-driving. which was only minus 15.86

DaimlerChrysler has presented plug-in hybrids in commercial vans that have enough room to store the batteries, but the technology is not quite ripe for cars."Plug-in
