Green Energy Ohio (GEO), promoting sustainable energy policies, technologies, and practices for many years, recently organized a state-wide electric vehicle (EV) tour of Ohio that began in Cleveland on June 7 and ended in Columbus on June 11. The Model 101, priced at $2,600, could travel 70 to 80 miles per charge.

My EV battery is warrantied for a minimum of 100K miles and eight years. Conventional gasoline vehicles only convert about 30% of the energy stored in gasoline to power at the wheels—the balance (~70%) literally goes up in smoke. Last summer, my wife and I drove to Grand Haven, MI for a week’s vacation.
