Volvo Trucks delivered its first all-electric vehicles on 19 February: a refuse truck to waste and recycling company Renova, and a distribution truck to the logistics company DB Schenker and partner haulier TGM, operating in Sweden. We will continue to develop our electrified offering.

The vehicle can still run on diesel, providing flexibility, but most of the time is running on biomethane gas which is a much cleaner and less polluting fuel. The Civitas Initiative exists to promote cleaner and better transport in Europe’s cities. Dual-fuel use is a very attractive option.
