Bifacial panels capture reflected light from the pavement, in addition to light on the top surface of the panels. They’re using those to charge service vehicles, like golf carts for campus use, rather than cars. We took a different approach. It’s difficult to do that with grid power alone. We have done some data centers.

In the process, I got some two-conductor wire to make the connections to the potbox switch and backup-light switch cleaner. Here's the side of the transmission with the two-conductor cable installed on the backup-light switch. Here's the somewhat finished potbox.

They are either glorified golf cart city cars like this one or they are only for the very wealthy like the Tesla. Several global indicators on the supply of oil and the known carbon pollution environmental damages its caused all lead us to find cleaner ways of transportation. Electric cars a still a joke.
