The Hertz Corporation is introducing compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles to its fleet in the US. Hertz will begin renting eight CNG Honda Civics and two CNG GMC Yukons at Will Rogers World Airport in Oklahoma City early next month. Oklahoma City is serving as a pilot program for Hertz’s CNG airport rentals program. —Mark P.

A workhorse diesel gets cleaner and more efficient. It has worked since 2018 with General Motors to incorporate DSF into more than a million of the company’s V8-engine models, including the Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Silverado and Suburban, and GMC Sierra and Yukon. That standard is scheduled to drop further in 2027.
