LEV IV eliminates the dirtiest FTP emission certification bins and add cleaner emission bins to provide more options for manufacturers to certify vehicles at lower emission levels.

Between January 2008 and June 2009, the Alliance established 27 “zero-emission mobility partnerships” with governments, municipalities and other sectors around the world for full-scale EV diffusion. Deployment of infrastructure, including charging stations and incentives for zero-emissions vehicle purchases, are being studied.
