While the latest Prius is rather attractive, the 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid hits the 50-mpg mark in a discreet package that doesn’t scream, “I have a hybrid.” The hatchback hybrid won’t arrive until later this summer with pricing to be announced in the future. Honda’s 2015 Civic Hybrid and Civic Natural Gas vehicles are joining the already released 2015 Civic Sedan, Civic Coupe and Civic Si in showrooms in the US. The 2015 Civic Hybrid launches at Honda dealers nationwide on November 5 with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) starting at $24,735.

Five months ago, we drove the 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid--which gave us slightly more than 45 mpg using "Econ" mode. That's the best gas mileage of any Honda Civic in recent memory. Its standard 1.8-liter.
