Chrysler LLC to Cut 25% of US Dealers

Chrysler LLC will cut 789 (25%) of its 3,181 dealerships in the US, subject to approval by the US Bankruptcy Court. The dealers to be cut represent 14% of the company’s sales volume, according to Chrysler. Chrysler says it plans to maintain business as usual with all of its dealers through the transition.

Chrysler Group recalling 2013 Fiat 500e BEVs over half shaft bolt issue

Chrysler Group is recalling approximately 270 model-year 2013 Fiat 500e battery-electric vehicles to replace bolts that secure the vehicles’ half shafts. An investigation was launched after Chrysler Group learned a customer’s vehicle exhibited power loss. Chrysler Group is unaware of any related accidents or injuries.
