Teco is also cooperating with Chinese partners to jointly develop motors for electric vehicles (EV). who will soon unveil such product in partnerships with Chinese companies. The hub motors will be installed in electric buses in Japan, with each vehicle using eight such propulsion devices.

As part of the largest investment in coal-fueled synthetic natural gas plants ever, the central Chinese government recently approved construction of nine large-scale plants capable of producing more than 37 billion cubic meters of synthetic natural gas annually.
