Chevrolet announced this week that its 2023 Bolt EV and Bolt EUV are going to get major drops in price. You can buy a Chevy Bolt EV for under $20,000 Rather than waiting until next year’s tax return, you can now use the EV tax credit at the point of sale. But you may want to act fast.

Chevrolet dealers in all 50 states in the US are now taking orders for the 2012 Chevrolet Volt. The suggested retail price for the Volt will start at $39,995 (or $32,495 assuming a full federal tax credit of $7,500, which is subject to the customer’s eligibility).

GM will introduce the Chevrolet Volt extended range electric vehicle with a starting MSRP of $41,000; after applying the Federal income tax credit of $7,500, the price drops to $33,500. Customer deliveries are scheduled to begin in launch markets late this year, with initial production of 10,000 units for the first year.
