The units I found quite accidentally are Free Juice Bar dual-connector units. Free Juice Bar, as the name implies, dispenses electricity to cars without networks to join, credit cards to wave, or phone calls to release the precious, if not dear, electrons. And probably not cheap. Good for them. And one on Google's map.

Although Tesla gets the headlines (and stock price boost), Nissan and Chevrolet make the sales. Plug-in vehicle sales are indeed increasing, with the LEAF and Volt each selling about 2500 units in June 2013. Simple access to power while at work is a tremendous additional incentive for PEV sales of these lower-range cars.

Charging it on a standard outlet will fully juice it up in just 80 minutes. The Tern bike blasted through its Kickstarter goal and is now available for sale. It isn’t cheap, but it could be a much better way to get to work than the metro and it’s way cheaper than using Uber over the course of the year.
