We’ve used this speaker and it is decently robust with good sound, clearly designed to weather a few knocks and scrapes in typical Jeep environments whilst also able to provide a bit of juice to devices via its USB port. The updated Flare 2 has an additional set of lights atop its crown.

They’ve kept my LEAF juiced, after all. For the electric vehicle project, broadly speaking, to be successful, we need to be mindful to keep it simple and keep it cheap. We are adding yet another electrical appliance to our ever increasing array of devices, from light bulbs and cell phones to refrigerators and HVAC systems.

Speaking of warning, we can’t say we didn’t warn you that this Jeep doesn’t come cheap. In addition to the Rubicon items, that price included trailer-sway damping, Uconnect infotainment with navigation, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Wi-Fi hot spot, satellite radio, 4 USB ports, LED lighting, and air conditioning. You don’t need the 4xe.

The X-Pro Sportage is for “light” off-roading while the hybrid is for urban and suburban commuters, and it’s well-suited to that role. The juice is supplied by a 1.49 Some materials felt a bit cheap, though. I spent most of my day in the X-Pro, which I was lukewarm about. kWh lithium-ion battery.
