Light electric vehicles: electric bicycles, golf carts, electric wheelchairs, etc. Lightweight, about 1/6-1/5 the weight of lead-acid products in the same volume. so the volume is relatively large.

Mr. Kulongoski wants to make Oregon the go-to state for electric vehicle production. Furthermore, changing the battery pack on say a Toyota Prius often costs a fortune, at least in most European countries, so such cars better be VERY cheap, but they’re not. In most conversions cost is about the same because of needless weight.
