Cheap DIY Hybrid

I knew I wanted something for her that was cheap to maintain, had a reliable automatic transmission, came with cruise control, AC. They knew about hybrids and after a couple of times riding in our Prius, they decided to pull the trigger on two 2006s with 180k km (112k miles). What is it like to drive a hybrid?

This isn’t just-for-show suspension like we’ve seen on plenty of cheap e-bikes and e-scooters. I’m definitely an e-bike rider first and foremost, but I spend plenty of time on electric scooters, and so having this hybrid feeling was a really cool way for me to bridge the two camps and get the best of both worlds.

I also think it will be cheap, which is why I think someone will buy the group. ↓ ↑ report 12 Throwback 11:29AM (4/23/2009) Envi includes the GEM entries.
