The concept behind V2G had gained traction in the late 1990s after California’s landmark zero-emission-vehicle (ZEV) mandate went into effect and compelled automakers to commercialize electric cars. And with the revival of the EV, the V2G concept was reborn. The experiment seemed to prove the feasibility of the technology.

We were successful with this before – remember the EV1?) Given the cost of oil and the economic, geopolitical and ecological effects of our continued reliance on petroleum, electric transportation will be cheap. That is a concept as flawed as swapping out your empty gas tank for a full one in your current car.
