Plug In Carolina has selected AeroVironment, Inc. (AV) AV) to supply, install and support a network of public electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in seven South Carolina cities. The charging network is expected to be operational by 1 December 2010 to support the variety of new EVs entering the roadways.

The noted developer of marine technologies has launched its five initial outboards under its new Avator lineup of all-electric motors, and I got the chance to test each of them out in Charleston, South Carolina.
