While driving with the front windows down, there was significant wind buffeting when at highway speeds. By the end of the rally, we downloaded 16 apps, used 13 of them, and had a handful of EV charging cards. Our van’s maximum charge was 290 miles (467 km) at 100% but its worst charge took just 200 miles (322 km).

I have asked them to rework the fuel tank area and see if they can fit the charging cable in that slot. The charging port standard is also something that they can relook at. We were down to a SoC of 30% by the time we hit Krishnagiri; this was because we had not charged the car from the time we picked it up at the dealership.

The four-door sedan will deliver 40 miles on a charge; a small gasoline engine will recharge the battery as it approaches depletion, extending its range by as much as 200 miles.
