Buoyed by the US government’s CARS (“Cash for Clunkers”) program, US auto sales slowed their decline in the US in July, dropping on 12.1% GMC sales increased 8%, led by Sierra, Canyon and Yukon XL. Toyota Motor Sales, USA (TMS) reported July sales of 174,872, down 11.4% Monthly new vehicle market share for hybrids.
