IFQC annual ranking of gasoline sulfur standards sees progress around the world; US drops to 46th

Montenegro leaped 48 slots, from 89 th place in 2010 to 41 st in this year’s ranking. Environmental damage to forests, crops and water supplies can also result from long-term, high-sulfur emissions. Colombia jumped 40 spots, from 98 th to 58 th , while Croatia moved up from 57 th to 37 th and Russia improved from 60 th to 51 st.
