Ford Motor Company, in conjunction with GE, will supply electric vehicle charging stations at Ford facilities nationwide, beginning with facilities in and around its headquarters. Ford now offers three plug-in vehicles: the battery electric Focus Electric, and the C-MAX Energi and Fusion Energi plug-in hybrids.

Hyundai’s 2018 Plug-in Hybrid Ioniq ( earlier post ) is heading to dealerships now—joining the Hybrid and Electric models—with an aggressive starting price of $24,950—$5,000 less than the full battery-electric version of the Ioniq but with more than five times the range. The Ioniq Electric: 180 g/mile.

The EPA rates the C40 Recharge Twin AWD at 226 all-electric miles (AER) with an efficiency of 39 kWh per 100 miles.

Perhaps more interesting than the ride, at least for some electro-geeks, are some of the pictures Doug took of the battery pack on display that will go into the electric smarts. For 20k at that size it should have been electric to begin with. and 49 mpg. from the Tesla Roadster. o well I guess they think all yanks hate diesels.
